Living, Healing & Leading Through Transformation

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

For the past six years, we have been nomadic, having left my husband’s native France. We’ve lived in Surrey, Pembrokeshire, Costa Rica and now in Devon. I would say that staying grounded whilst on the go – for work, family life, health and so on – was the most challenging. We have now decided to settle here in Devon and I can already feel other opportunities to grow and explore coming up – but this time deeper into the internal landscape.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

Pros definitely include being able to harmonise every aspect of your life as you want it, feel it needs to be and need it to be, as well as the opportunity to work with the incredible range of partners, coaches and clients that are drawn to my work and my journey.

The biggest con I would say is when I was still suffering from burnout and – with everything to manage in every aspect of life – entrepreneurship didn’t give me a reliable framework (or salary) that at times we could have benefitted from. The process of entrepreneurship did, however, end up helping me to heal and integrate my burnout in alternative ways that I possibly wouldn’t have had access to, or time to explore, if I was an employee.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

The greater vision is to have our own big herd of Dartmoor ponies in Devon (we currently have 2 horses that are incredible healers) that clients can come on retreat to work with in their own growth journey of entrepreneurship, leadership, facilitating and coaching over longer periods of time. Horses hold templates of what it means to live in community (herd), whilst being fully embodied in our gifts and skills and I believe a greater template for the future of humanity.
