Practical & Pretty Maternity & Feeding Wear

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

Our little one arrived in the world 6 weeks early and was in special care for just under 3.5 weeks. The business took a back seat for a while. Once we felt like we had things under control at home, we started promoting the business again. We relaunched with a new logo that suits the brand a little better, designed new stock with more realistic sizing and expanded the range to be more size inclusive.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

Growing your little business can be tough and when it is a very niche market, it can make things a little harder. Brand awareness is hard! We have learnt a lot of new skills we didn’t know we had in us, like website development, clothing design and many more.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

As we speak, new styles are designed and at final sample stage. They will be in stock shortly. Photos have been taken with some awesome models and uploaded to our website. As we grow, we would love to open up a retail shop in Shepparton (Vic) and expand our online shopping experience to the overseas market.
