For Alchemist’s Cabinet founder Cassandra Hall, it was a lifelong passion for natural health combined with a vision for meaningful change that sparked the beginning of a deeply personal and purpose-driven journey – one rooted in resilience, love and an unshakable belief in the healing power of nature. From a young age, she was drawn to leadership and the idea of building something that mattered. But it wasn’t until years later – after navigating profound personal loss and rediscovering her strength as a mother – that the vision truly came to life. Armed with a background in operations and a fierce commitment to wellness, she took a leap of faith and left behind a stable career to launch a business grounded in integrity, compassion and the desire to help others feel their best – naturally. Here Cassandra talks to The Natural Parent Magazine about the inspiration behind her business, the challenges she has overcome, and her hopes and dreams for the future.
The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?
Natural health has been a lifelong passion of mine. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been searching for supplements that are natural, effective and affordable-but too often, I found products that didn’t meet my standards.
Unlike most kids who dream of becoming singers, actresses or ballerinas, I always imagined myself as the CEO of a major company. Business and leadership fascinated me from a young age, and I knew I was meant to build something meaningful. My background is in Operations and Management, so running my own business felt like the perfect next step – one where I could combine my skills with my passion for health and wellness.
A few years ago, I met an incredible man who had the missing links – extensive product knowledge, manufacturing expertise and industry insight. Then, last year, everything aligned perfectly. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I took a leap of faith, left my stable job, and went all in on my dream. I haven’t looked back since.

The launch: How did you start out in the beginning?
We didn’t start small! Right from the beginning, we were incredibly fortunate to work with an inspiring doctor who placed an order for over 400 bottles. Her belief in our supplements gave me the confidence to take the next big step – signing a lease on a factory close to home so we could scale up production. Not long after, another distributor came on board with an order of over 1,000 bottles. From that moment on, it’s been full steam ahead!
The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?
One of the biggest breakthroughs came when we saw just how much our supplements were genuinely helping people. The feedback from customers who experienced real improvements in their health reinforced why we do what we do. Another key milestone was securing partnerships with health professionals and distributors who shared our belief in high-quality, effective supplements. That validation and support helped us grow faster than we ever imagined.

Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
For me, family always comes first. My little girl is the light of my life, and her needs are my top priority. One of the greatest benefits of running my own business is the flexibility it gives me-I never have to miss her gymnastics classes, kinder drop-offs or special moments like graduations. If she’s unwell, I can be home with her without worrying about asking for time off.
I make it work by planning ahead. I get a head start on big orders when I anticipate them, and before I leave the factory, I always set things up for the next work session. Right now, I’m working the equivalent of about two days a week, so we have the capacity to grow, and that’s exactly what we’re working on.
