The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
There have been many: self-doubt, burnout, the juggle of motherhood and running a business as a FIFO wife. I’ve walked through seasons where bookings were slow and I questioned if I was enough. But each challenge has shaped me and sharpened my vision.
The hardest moments have given me the most clarity – that this work matters, and I am capable of holding both my motherhood and my dream.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The freedom is everything. I get to create on my own terms, connect deeply with women and families, and be there for my children when they need me most. But it also means the weight is all on my shoulders. It’s lonely at times, and the lines between work and life can blur quickly.
Still, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. There’s magic in building something that’s entirely your own, especially when it’s built from love.

Hopes and dreams: What next?
I want to go deeper. I’m dreaming of photographing more in-home storytelling sessions, expanding my offerings into short family films, and travelling to capture motherhood in rural communities across the UK when we move.
My heart also feels pulled toward mentoring, helping other women step into their voice and vision. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
