Out of Trauma, Love Flows: Becoming a Natural Parent

We truly come into our own when, for the very first time, we choose a different path to those around us. When we look into the eyes of our child and we listen to the heart speak that they do, we are never the same again.

I am reaching out to you all. To those who silently carry the pain of not having the ‘ideal’ of their dream. Dear dear woman, it makes us who we are.

The road is not easy and as you scale the mountain of this life-changing experience, you will have many times where you feel you are completely broken. You are, because it is needed. I stepped away from my son’s father, as there was no space for me or my child to grow as nature intended. I cried many tears, have been afraid, alone, lost, exhausted, isolated. The list can and does go on and on, but one look into my child’s eyes and I kept going.

We truly come into our own when, for the very first time, we choose a different path to those around us. When we look into the eyes of our child and we listen to the heart speak that they do, we are never the same again.

They remind us all of what we have inside us, that latent wisdom. That knowing which cannot be found in a book. It has to be experienced.

It is because of my son that I got in touch with who I really am, it is because of him that I found me.

I am here to remind you, that the path you are on, is the right one for you. At the end of the massive clear out you experience in the traumatic birth, is a life worth having and living. Beyond the ideal is the real, beyond the dream is a reality. That once healing occurs, puts you on an amazing path that would not have opened up any other way.
