The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Some days it feels like everything about running a small business has been about overcoming challenges! The biggest though was a total overhaul of my products: construction, fabrics, labels, everything. There were just so many things I hadn’t thought about in the first 6 months that needed some serious changes within a year.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
I absolutely LOVE working from home and for myself. I’m a serious introvert so I really enjoy being able to work in my own space and it means I can be really flexible with my time too.
The cons would be that it all comes down to me. I do absolutely every aspect of my business which can be super overwhelming at times and feels like I’m fighting a never-ending to-do list.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
Grow grow grow! I’m looking to expand my stockists, create a larger range and turn this into a full time gig.
