For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
For me, my business is my purpose. This is a big plus! It helps me make sense of my experience and enables me to give back. I love what I do. Seeing someone after a coaching session feeling lighter and more positive, is so rewarding. I also love the freedom that running your own business brings, and the sense that I’m in the driving seat, I’m making it happen.
The cons for me is that it can be hard when it is just you. I’m a social person, so miss the elements that being part of a team bring.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
There is so much for more for Fertility Potentials – I feel like I am only just starting. I’m looking forward to some collaborations and also a Natural Fertility Expo in November in Wellington. We have a long way to go before everyone on their fertility journeys feel heard, supported and understood. We have a lot more stories to share. There is still a lot of work to do!
Final words: What advice would you give women on their fertility journey?
You are not alone, you are not broken, and it’s not your fault. You can, and you will feel better. You don’t need to put on the brave face and soldier on. You don’t have to do this by yourself. Find someone to talk to who gets it and can help you heal and feel better.
