Michelle Rosewarne and her daughter and business partner Casey Macdonald believe that small changes can make a big difference. They launched their business, Eco Beauty Brands, to offer alternative, eco-friendly product options that will have a more positive impact on our health and our planet.
The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?
Health and wellness are always an important focus in our family and we wanted to share that with others. We believe that small changes really can make a big difference and knowing that we are giving people access to a wide range of eco-friendly products that will, each in their own way, have a more positive impact on our health and our planet is a huge incentive. The beautiful bonus to this business is being able to work with my daughter, Casey, to create a family business we can both be very proud of, knowing that in some small way we are making a difference.
The launch: How did you start out in the beginning?
We were making a conscious effort to make our home more eco-friendly and were struggling to find products that worked and were cost effective, so when we found ones we loved we were excited and began sharing that information with friends and family and it snowballed!
The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?
Purchasing products that we would use ourselves, from companies who had the same care for others as we do.
