With almost 10 years’ experience in business administration, social media management and small business accounting, Tiffany Hubbard became overwhelmed with working the regular 9-5 whilst running her own business as a side hustle, so took the plunge to commit 100% to Inner Circle Consulting. She is passionate about small business owner empowerment, offering bespoke packages for assisting small businesses to thrive by conquering their book-keeping and social media management. This includes building the knowledge and confidence to grow from needing her full assistance to self-managing their finances and social media with minimal ongoing guidance. Here Tiffany talks to The Natural Parent Magazine about her business journey so far.
The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?
I was inspired to set up Inner Circle Consulting by my passion for empowering people to reach their goals. I love the feeling I get when a client says to me “Hey, I succeeded!” and I know I’ve made a difference for them. The idea of helping someone achieve financial stability, and elevate their project to the next level, whether it be a business or a charity or an event, is what pushed me to establish ICC as a business.
The launch: How did you start out in the beginning?
In the beginning, Inner Circle Consulting started as a side hustle while I was working a full-time job. I became overwhelmed with trying to put 100% into both things, and so with almost a decade of experience in business administration, social media management and small business accounting, I decided to commit 100% to the business.
The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?
The biggest breakthrough for me was realising the power of collaboration. That there is no tried and true, one-size-fits-all approach. Tailoring my services to meet the unique needs of each client enabled them to achieve remarkable results. Most of my clients have gone from me assisting them by managing their finances to being empowered with the knowledge to self-manage with minimal ongoing assistance from me.
Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
Balancing work and family is undoubtedly a challenge but has been an essential lesson for me. I’ve had to learn to prioritise and set boundaries to ensure quality time with my family while maintaining dedication to my clients and business. As a person wiser than myself once said, it’s not about work/life balance, it’s work/life choreography.
