The passion: What inspired you to set up your business?

I had been carrying the idea of starting my own law firm specialising in estate planning for a long time, but something always held me back. My husband became my biggest motivation to take the leap. His unwavering support, along with my mum’s advice to never back down, gave me the confidence I needed to move forward and believe in myself. I want my children to grow up knowing that their mum didn’t hesitate to take a leap of faith, and I hope it will inspire them to take calculated risks in their own lives.

What truly drives me is the privilege of listening to my clients’ life stories and being in a unique position to help them ensure their loved ones-partners, children, and family-are cared for. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that I’m helping families focus on cherishing memories rather than worrying about the paperwork they leave behind.

The innovation: What was the biggest breakthrough for you with your business?

The biggest breakthrough for me with my business was finding the confidence to take the leap and start my own law firm. For a long time, I struggled with self-doubt, but the unwavering support of my family, and the encouragement from professionals in my close network gave me the strength to move forward. Their guidance and advice helped me overcome challenges and provided the reassurance I needed to push past my fears. Once I made the decision to take action, everything began to fall into place. That moment of self-belief, coupled with the support of those around me, was the turning point that allowed my business to grow and thrive.

Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?

Balancing a 3-year-old toddler, a 6-month-old baby, and a brand-new business is no easy feat, but at the end of each day, I feel an incredible sense of fulfillment. Not only have I spent quality time with my beautiful kids and husband, but I’ve also been able to engage my mind by helping people protect their families and loved ones through thoughtful estate planning. I truly believe none of this would be possible without the support of my husband, his parents, and his brother. I know I can always count on them to care for the little ones when I need to focus on an urgent court matter. It really does take a village-not only to raise children but to run a business as well!
