The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
I’ve had to unlearn a lot of old stories – like the idea that you have to hustle non-stop to be successful. That if you’re not burnt out, you’re not doing enough. Self-doubt can definitely pop its head up, and now I quickly shut it down. I know what I want to achieve and I do it while still being the kind of mum I want to be. Learning the business side of things was another steep learning curve. But each challenge has taught me something about resilience, and I’m grateful for the lessons.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The biggest pro is the freedom – being able to create a business that feels like me and allows me to connect deeply with people. It fits around our life and I know I am setting an example for my kids and what it looks like to follow a passion.
The con is that it can be hard to switch off – there’s always something on your mind. We are a pretty artsy and musical family, so being creative in that sense helps to switch off. But even on the busiest days, I wouldn’t trade it. It’s a juggle, but it’s a privilege too.
This business has honestly flowed so effortlessly – it’s never really felt like ‘hard work’ in the traditional sense.

Hopes and dreams: What next?
My hopes are simple, yet big – I want to keep growing this business in a way that stays true to my values, offering real value to my community while still allowing me to be present for my family. My beautiful girls have been a huge part of this journey! This isn’t just my business. It’s ours.
I want to continue to create a wholesome space where people feel nurtured and educated. I love educating my clients, involving them in their care, and making sure they feel heard and understood every step of the way.
But I also dream of taking this to the next level – innovating the massage industry with new ideas, products and services that make a real difference. I have just integrated Hemp products – grown in the Northern Rivers into my clinic spaces. I am excited to see where this leads. I’m always learning and evolving, and I want to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible while staying grounded in the essence of what I do. And ultimately, I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions with the same freedom and joy that I’ve been able to find.
