The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
One of the biggest challenges has been shifting the traditional parenting mindset. So many parents were raised with outdated parenting models, and change can be uncomfortable. Convincing parents to unlearn old habits and embrace a more curious, connection-based approach takes time.
For Better or Worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
- Pros: I get to make a real impact in the lives of families. I have the freedom to create my own methods, work with amazing parents, and spread a message I truly believe in. Plus, I love that no two days are ever the same!
- Cons: Running your own business means wearing all the hats-coach, marketer, content creator, and more. It can be overwhelming, and there’s no “off switch.” But the reward of seeing families transform makes it all worth it.
Hopes and Dreams: What next?
I want to expand the reach of The Curious Parenting Method™ – helping even more parents and teens build strong, healthy relationships. That means more courses, resources, and maybe even a book down the line! I’m also focused on growing my podcast, Your Youth Mentor, and continuing to create content that empowers parents to approach parenting with curiosity instead of control.
