Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
We have specific days that we meet up while the kids are at school to do business-related things. Michelle is also really great at the website side of things and Sally does the Insta/order packing so it works really well. Weekends are for catching up as families.
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
One challenge is the fact that we are a working mum/FIFO mum business and having to work on time management.
Starting our business from the ground up and pulling it all together to go live was also challenging, and working out that not everyone envisages our dream/passion.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The cons are that you don’t know when the next order is coming and you may not necessarily see eye to eye with everything and everyone
The pros are that you get to work on something you believe in and enjoy doing, not just by yourself but with your work partner.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
We plan to build brand awareness and also help one mum at a time regain ME time.
We want to build up our client base and potentially organise getaways in other states and countries when it is safe to do so.
