Kokako’s Drinking Chocolate is Biogro Organic and Fairtrade certified and is made of only cocoa (from the Conacado Cooperative in the Dominican Republic) and golden cane sugar (from the Manduvira Cooperative in Paraguay), so it’s suitable for vegan and gluten families – we like it best with coconut milk. There are no fillers, emulsifiers of preservatives and it’s organic certification means it’s free from pesticides and herbicides too. Kokako put a lot of effort into finding sustainable solutions throughout their supply chain too and can happily say that all their packaging is now made from compostable material right here in NZ.
