The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
One of the biggest challenges has been introducing a new brand in a competitive market while maintaining my values of quality and safety. Navigating logistics, especially during supply chain disruptions, has also been tough. But staying true to my vision and hearing positive feedback from customers keeps me going.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros of running my own business are:
- Creative freedom to build something I believe in.
- The flexibility to involve my children and manage my time.
- Seeing the joy our products bring to young artists.
The cons are:
- Juggling multiple responsibilities can be overwhelming.
- The unpredictability of running a small business.
- It’s hard to “switch off” and separate work from life sometimes.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I dream of expanding AdriArt Ltd. to more families and schools, fostering creativity in children across the UK and beyond. I’m also exploring collaborations, like our handmade Christmas gift bags, and I hope to introduce new products that inspire even more creative moments.
