The creator of PharmOnline, Anna Barwick, grew up in Peak Hill, NSW, on her parents’ organic and biodynamic farming property. Anna is a registered, experienced clinical pharmacist in the hospital, aged care and community settings with a particular focus on rural practice and now works as a university academic. Anna lives in Walcha (New England region of NSW) with her husband and two young children on their Australian Stock Horse stud farm, raising miniature dachshunds, chooks and cattle. Anna has always been passionate about holistic health management and loves seeing her patients achieve their health goals. PharmOnline is her passion project to bring the medication experts (pharmacists) to people no matter where they live.
Pharmacists at PharmOnline include Deborah Hurwitz and Katie Phillips in Victoria, Jamie-Lee Woods and Penny Liddell in Queensland and Marlene Lim and Nhan Do in Western Australia. Anna, Deborah, Katie, Jamie-Lee and Penny are qualified consultant home medication review pharmacists with over 40 years of experience between them. Marlene is fluent in Vietnamese and has a special interest in positive mental health. Nhan is passionate about sleep apnoea treatment, particularly in men. All have worked in community pharmacy and a number of the team are also current hospital and GP pharmacists.
