The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
The greatest challenge has been to source products that we are truly happy with and meet our objectives. We didn’t want to release something that we weren’t 100% happy with. A lot of time and money went into finding the products we have ended up with.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
We believe that if it makes you happy, it is well worth it. As long as we continue enjoying the journey and learning along the way, it is something we will keep doing. We share the responsibility for all aspects of the business: the admin, social media and the stock take, etc. – so it works well for us.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
Our hope is that every whānau has a piece of our work in their home, showcasing who we are as people of Aotearoa.
