Well & Truly Nourished: Honouring Motherhood Through Nutrition & Healing

The drive: What challenges have you overcome?

Running your own business can be filled with uncertainty, but when you have a deep passion for something, such as I do with nutrition, you just have to try because if you don’t, you’ll always be left wondering. Making this transition was a big challenge for me after years of working in the corporate world. I’ve always been more of a behind-the-scenes person, so offering 1:1 personalised nutrition consulting has been the perfect way to align my passion with my natural strengths.

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?

One of the biggest pros is having more time at home while Quinn is little and being able to watch him reach his early milestones. I have also really enjoyed involving our family in the setup process, whether it be having the children in the photos that represent the business, or having my husband take pride in the food photography or the backend details of the website.

I guess one of the significant cons is not necessarily having a steady income while I have been getting things up and running, but one of the main reasons for launching my business was to be able to do something that I am truly passionate about.

Hopes and dreams: What next?

Those closest to me would also tell you that my biggest dream of all is to publish a cookbook – one filled with nourishing, approachable recipes for every stage of motherhood and family life. I imagine it as a gentle companion in the kitchen, offering real food guidance from pregnancy through postpartum and into the toddler and family years, with a focus on simplicity, tradition and connection.

Beyond the cookbook, I’m also deeply committed to continuing to grow my business in a way that feels aligned and meaningful – working one-on-one with mothers, developing new resources and creating an online space that truly supports women in one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. For me, it’s about more than just food; it’s about helping women feel seen, supported and nourished on every level.

Of course, with Quinn still so young, the cookbook dream may need to wait until life opens up a bit more. But it’s something close to my heart, and I’m excited to bring it to life when the time is right – so, watch this space!

At the heart of it all, my mission is simple: to help mothers feel deeply nourished, supported and empowered during one of the most life-changing seasons they will ever walk through. Whether it’s through a one-on-one consult, a shared recipe or a quiet moment of encouragement online, my hope is that every mother who crosses my path feels a little more grounded, a little more confident and a lot more cared for. This work has been such a gift in my life – and I can’t wait to see how it continues to grow and unfold in the years ahead.

Thank you for following along on this journey. It’s a privilege to walk alongside so many incredible mothers.
