Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
That’s easy now that I get to work from home – that’s less time travelling! My social media business makes it easy to balance work and family as I actually chose to allocate a certain amount of time a week and a month to balance everything. I enjoy taking my business out into the public via expos and markets and I just love the fact that I can take my children to a lot of the things I do with this business because it is so family-friendly
The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
I am not a very confident or secure person within my abilities so this business has really challenged me to step outside my comfort zone. I love helping others reach their goals, knowing that they are worthy of whatever they choose and or desire. My challenges have become my biggest strengths and in turn I’m the highest rank distributor in New Zealand at present. My passion is to help others change their challenges into their biggest strengths/assists. It’s not about the ranking, it’s not about standing out, it’s about growing as a person, as a mother and really stepping outside comfort zone so that those challenges can be left behind and others including my children see everyone is worthy of dreaming big.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
We get to work around our other commitments and children but we need to be able to provide the support, integrity and really believe in the product, so the passion can be shared. Yes we may be put into places that might not be as comfortable. We are never alone in this business we all work together.
