A Passion for Books that Enrich Lives

I’m very proud of our children’s book list. We have recently published two books by Laura Shallcrass, Hare & Ruru and What Colour is the Sky? that have won numerous awards. Fathers will enjoy the humour of Don’t Puke on Your Dad by Toby Morris, while children will delight at the whimsy of Muki and Pickles by Ross Murray or My Cats Can See Ghosts by Emily Joe. Thank You by Dana Winters is a remarkable book, too, that encourages gratitude in children and to experience the wonder, vibrancy and generosity of our natural world.

I am going to revisit Golden Month by Jenny Allison in preparation for having my next baby. Golden Month outlines a holistic approach towards postnatal care that amalgamates the best practices from different cultures throughout the world, and I know it will help me navigate those precious first six weeks with my new bub.

As for the future? I would like to continue to curate a carefully considered list of books to add to the unique gems we have already published and build on Beatnik‘s hard-won success in the competitive book publishing world. And I’d like to cherish the time spent with my partner and precious children, as we raise our family.

Visit the Beatnik Publishing website to find out more about their wonderful books and authors. You can also join their communities on Facebook and Instagram.
