The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
I’ve always wanted to do something to support children’s wellbeing, but initially I doubted myself, as I felt like maybe there were enough products out there. What I’ve now learnt is that yes, there are some products out there, but mine are certainly unique, as they are fuelled by my experiences and passions.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros are having a creative outlet, learning so many new skills, and turning my ideas and experience into beautiful products that support the mental health of young people feels so good.
As for cons, it’s hard not having the time to physically make all ideas come to life. I’ll get there though!
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I have some special little products for little ones in the works – they will remain bright, positive and nature-inspired! I’m also currently studying Mindfulness for Children, so I look forward to continuing to upskill myself so that I can continue to create some handy tools that support children, as well as other parents and teachers that I connect with.
