The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
One of the biggest challenges has been overcoming my own self-doubt and wondering whether the business would be successful.
I’ve also had to learn how to balance rest, self-care and daily household responsibilities while maintaining a website and staying active on social media.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The biggest advantage is the freedom and flexibility to work on my own schedule while always being available for my daughter when she needs me.
Also, going on holiday and still being able to maintain the website and communication side of the business.
A con would be staying motivated to consistently advertise and maintain a presence on social media. There are also ongoing costs associated with running a website and paid advertising
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I hope to reach more expecting and new mums, as well as their friends and family, and introduce them to the idea of gifting a practical and thoughtful nappy caddy gift hamper.
I would also love to encourage more families to purchase second-hand clothing for their children and embrace sustainable shopping.
