I’m Monique, 29. I’m a mama of my gorgeous (most of the time) 4-year-old little energiser bunny Jax. I am right into my arts, crafts, digital and hands on design and scenic photography. I also practice mindfulness, healthy living, yoga and crystal healing, to name a few. These things are my meditation and positive outlets from everyday life.
After losing another son, stillborn in 2015, my whole world changed. Along with that, I found out due to an extremely rare condition I have, that having any more children was not an option for me. As you can imagine, at 26 this was a lot to take in. Completely grateful for Jaxon, I used my art as a way to cope. A positive outlet.

Good dreams are sure to come along if you hang a dream catcher above your bed. In Native American culture, dream catchers are handmade crafts that consist of a round hoop woven with a loose web of yarn and decorated with beads and feathers hanging below the hoop.
Dream catchers were hung above the beds of sleeping children to protect them from bad dreams and evil spirits. Legends held that the spiderweb design of the dream catcher would allow good dreams to pass through and float down the hanging beads and feathers to the sleeping children.
Bad dreams, however, would be caught in the web. As the first rays of the morning light hit the dream catcher, the bad dreams would disappear. Children sleeping under a dream catcher would thus be protected from nightmares.
All my dream catchers have added crystals for added protective properties. Great for anyone suffering restless or nightmarish nights.
