The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Where do I start? The biggest challenge I faced came right when motherhood began for me. Three months in, my husband decided to leave-just one month after our daughter was born, he started an affair. To say it broke me is an understatement. Throw in a family loss and a global pandemic, and it was like life threw everything at me at once. At that point, I couldn’t have imagined being where I am today, helping other parents thrive. Motherhood is hard, being a single mum is even harder, and watching your ex live out the family dreams with someone else? Well, that’s a special kind of tough. But I’ve made it through, and I’m still standing (sometimes barely, but standing!). Community has been everything, and I’ve done a lot of work to choose empathy and understanding over resentment. Financial stress has also been a huge challenge, but I’ve adapted and grown stronger because of it. And as they say, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right?

For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
Let’s start with the cons-because, let’s be real, running your own business isn’t all Instagram-worthy moments. It’s hard to prioritise your own work when there’s laundry piling up, dinner needs to be made, and life is happening all around you. And then there’s the financial instability, which as a single mum can be terrifying. But I know this is my calling, and it’s what I’m meant to be doing. The pros? I get to do what I love, and I get to do it on my terms. The flexibility to work from anywhere is amazing-I can coach from my living room, or even my grandma’s house in Germany if I want. And while admin is not my strong suit (seriously, I dream of the day I can outsource that!), knowing that I’m making a difference keeps me going. Plus, I love that I can share this journey with my daughter. She gets to see me following my passion, and that’s something I’m really proud of.

Hopes and dreams: What next?
My dream is to have the flexibility to work when and where I want, so I can be there for my daughter when she needs me. I’d love to travel a bit more, taking my work with me, while also finding a long-term home in the countryside where we can settle and build our own community. I want my business to support that dream-both financially and emotionally. And, of course, I want to keep growing. More clients, more workshops, more parents feeling empowered and confident not just in their parenting, but in their own life journeys. I want to help people live their best, most fulfilled lives, while also doing the same for myself and my little one.
