Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
I am not a mom yet and because of COVID, my partner and I had been apart for the last 8 months. And to be honest, one of the positive sides of that is that I had 100% of my time to invest in my projects.
I feel so much respect and admiration for the people who run their own business and have a family!
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
Working 5 jobs at the same time to find a way of paying my bills and investing in my business has been challenging. I’ve also learned a lot about professional relationships and how to become the best version of myself. The business world is hostile, and you need to be ready for everything.
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
A big pro is being able to design my life, month, week, day the way I want. I can choose a day at the beach knowing that I will spend the night answering emails and I love that freedom.
In terms of cons, not having a stable income is difficult. That is my biggest struggle.
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I want to open my own holistic playroom where I can set up my learning environment and fill it up with my products. In that way I will be able to show families all around the world how to transform their homes into prepared environments.
