Yin and Yang: How do you balance work and family?
At first it was a struggle and sometimes it still is.
Our kids go to daycare, so I do most of my creating while they’re at daycare or asleep. Is the house not completely in order all the time? 100% but my husband and my family are always there to lend a helping hand. Sometimes my hubby is behind the tools too which is cool.
The drive: What challenges have you overcome?
This one is tough, I think constantly doubting myself. Every day I try and improve on that. So I haven’t really overcome it yet, but I am 100% doing better than I was yesterday!
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
The pros are meeting amazing people and creating a relationship with them, being able to be creative and proud of what I do, and being able to support local and small businesses when purchasing my supplies.
The cons are that you are on the go 24/7, and some people not understanding that my family will always come first before making orders.
