The Drive: What challenges have you overcome?
I guess for me, the biggest challenge I am facing is getting my name out there: having that confidence to tell people about Monster Merinos and what a great product New Zealand Merino Wool is, and that it’s ok to machine wash merino!
The next challenge would be learning to be a computer chick! While I know the basics, I do have more to learn but I’m getting there!
For better or worse: What are the pros and cons of running your own business?
There is a lot of learning involved! However, it’s great to be involved in the wool industry and to be producing clothing which is New Zealand designed and manufactured.
It is exciting to have my own business. I guess the con would be that it is also a little scary!
Hopes and dreams: What next?
I am in the process of creating some baby garments to add to the collection and I also want to add some ladies clothing. I want to specialise in base layer clothing.
I want to continue to get the Monster Merinos name out there and to grow the business.
